A Rookie QB Gets the Call for Miami Against Terps

Miami, FL (AP) - Maryland plays a brand of defense Miami hasn't seen
this season, with numerous blitz packages that force even
experienced quarterbacks into making mistakes.

And the Hurricanes will be sending a first-time starter into the
fray.

Stephen Morris takes over as Miami's quarterback on Saturday,
with incumbent starter Jacory Harris sidelined with a concussion.
It's just about a must-win scenario for the Hurricanes (5-3, 3-2
Atlantic Coast Conference), who are two full games behind Virginia
Tech in the Coastal Division with just three remaining.

Maryland (6-2, 3-1) comes in just a half-game back of Florida
State for the Atlantic Division lead.
