Las Vegas, NV (AP) - The USF women's basketball team had its four-game winning streak snapped tonight as Texas handed the Bulls a hard fought 83-65 loss in the final game of the BTI Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada. USF finishes the Classic with a 2-1 record and drops to 9-5 on the year.
Andrea Smith scored a team-high 17 points while twin sister Andrell added 15 points in the loss.
USF will take a short break for the Christmas holiday before getting back to action and closing out its non-conference schedule at Nebraska on Dec. 30 at 6:05 p.m. ET. The Bulls will return home to begin the balance of their BIG EAST play when it faces Cincinnati on Jan. 5 at 7 p.m.
