FAMU Hoping to Avoid November Letdown

While the Noles hope to rebound, the FAMU Rattlers are looking to continue their 3-game win streak... Here's Sam Lane on the Orange & Green road ahead.

There can be no let down for the Rattlers if they want November to be a month to remember. FAMU still sits in the hunt for the MEAC title, but they have been within striking distance with three games left to in the season before.

"The past two or three years there's always been one or two games that really has just held us back and we don't want to have that mentality. Just thinking that we're going to go in and treat any opponent less than the next one," said FAMU Linebacker Greg Harvey.

Last year FAMU lost at Hampton and two years ago lost to Morgan State in November; both eliminated their shots at reaching the playoffs.

"Late in the season we'd lose that one game because we would look past somebody. This year we're taking it one team at a time, just focusing on one team at a time. We can't look past nobody. Every game is a conference championship for us," said FAMU Senior Defensive Lineman Marquiste Ramos.

It's a feeling the the Rattlers know all too well, and are not looking to re-live anytime soon.

"Because of the experience the last couple of years we're able to bring those kind of things to the forefront to just warn them all what needs to happen if we want to finish strong," said FAMU Head Coach Joe Taylor.

FAMU will be put to the test this Saturday when they leave the Sunshine State for the last time this regular season. The Rattlers have a date with the Aggies of North Carolina A&T.
