Three former Seminoles made the cut at the 2014 US Open on Friday. Brooks Koepka, who finished at Florida State in 2012, Daniel Berger, who went pro in 2013, and Lucas Bjerregaard, who signed with Florida State but went pro before the school started, all advance to Saturday's third round. Jonas Blixt, who graduated in 2008, missed the cut.
Koepka is currently tied for fifth place with a 2-under par, eight strokes behind first place Martin Kaymer. After an even par 70 on Thursday, Koepka turned in a 68 on Friday after finishing the day with a birdie on his last hole.
Bjerregaard is tied for 27th with a 2-over after two rounds while Berger is tied for 33rd with a 3-over 143.
