ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia Tech is still clinging to hope of
defending its Atlantic Coast Conference championship.
The Yellow Jackets (5-3, 3-2 ACC) know the odds are against them
as they prepare for Thursday's prime-time game against No. 20
Virginia Tech. The Hokies (6-2, 4-0) are the hottest team in the
league, having ripped off six straight wins since a stunning loss
to James Madison.
Georgia Tech is a two-touchdown underdog, but coach Paul Johnson
said Monday that he's not giving up on the ACC title until his team
is eliminated. The Yellow Jackets know they must win their last
three conference games and hope the Hokies lose to someone else in
the final month of the regular season.
