Athens, GA - The University of Georgia volleyball team will face Southeastern Conference Eastern Division opponents Kentucky and 22nd-ranked Tennessee on the road this weekend.
Georgia (11-12, 3-9 SEC) will first play at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Ky., on Friday evening against Kentucky (11-11, 5-7 SEC) with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Then on Sunday the Bulldogs will play in Knoxville, Tenn., against Tennessee (16-5, 8-4 SEC). First serve between the Bulldogs and Lady Vols at Thompson-Boling Arena is scheduled for 2 p.m., and the match will be televised by CSS.
UGA has already faced both teams earlier this season in Athens. On Sept. 24, the Bulldogs posted a 3-2 upset over a then 20th-ranked Lady Vols squad. However, UT still holds a 34-24 advantage in the all-time series. On Sept. 26, Georgia also took Kentucky to five sets before the Wildcats came out on top to extend its current winning streak in the series to 11, and UK now leads the all-time series 32-24.
Sunday's match at Tennessee will be the fourth televised match of the season for Georgia, who will make a total of five TV appearances in 2010. The UGA-UT match will mark the first time the Dogs will play on CSS, who will also air UGA's fifth TV match against at Alabama on Nov. 11.
