GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- No. 22 Florida could be without guard
Jon Halapio against Mississippi State on Saturday.
Halapio had surgery Sunday to repair of broken finger on his
right hand. Halapio sustained a compound fracture of his middle
finger in Saturday's 33-29 loss to LSU.
Coach Urban Meyer called Halapio doubtful for Saturday's game.
Receiver Deonte Thompson and safety Matt Elam sustained
concussions against the Tigers, but Meyer says they should be
cleared to practice Tuesday.
Running back Jeff Demps (foot) could return after sitting out
against LSU, and quarterback John Brantley (ribs, thumb, shoulder)
is expected to play through his injuries again.
