OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -- Gerald Robinson scored a season-high 22
points and No. 24 Georgia put five players in double figures
Saturday in a 98-76 victory over Mississippi.
Trey Thompkins had 21 points, Travis Leslie added 17, Dustin
Ware 15 and Jeremy Price 12 for Georgia (13-3, 2-1 Southeastern
Conference), which bounced back from a loss at Vanderbilt that
snapped a nine-game winning streak.
The Bulldogs shot a season-best 64 percent (33 of 52) from the
field. At the free throw line, Georgia was 26 of 27.
Zach Graham led Ole Miss (12-6, 0-3) with 21 points. Reginald
Buckner added 11 points for the Rebels, who have lost three
Georgia never trailed, racing to a 7-0 lead in the opening 2
minutes on the way to a 53-37 cushion at halftime. Ole Miss never
got closer than 13 points again, as Georgia led by as many as 27 on
five occasions in the final 2 minutes.
