An FSU Heisman quarterback made an appearance in familiar territory Tuesday night.. Former Seminole QB Chris Weinke was the featured speaker at the Tallahassee Quarterback Club..
Weinke's key speech touched on a number of topics ranging from his passion for Bobby Bowden to his confidence in Jimbo Fisher. He talked about his injury while at FSU as well as his thoughts on the orange jerseys worn by the rival Florida Gators last Saturday night in their home loss to the LSU Tigers.
He's currently teaching at the John Madden IMG Football Academy in Bradenton, FL... Weinke's message for Tuesday's audience of high school and college football enthusiasts was clear.
"I understood that earning an education will last me throughout my life and my physical skills would only serve me briefly. you should learn like your going to live forever and live like you're going to die tomorrow," said Weinke.
