The Eddie C. Moore Complex is Clearwater's national and state award winning softball facility. The complex is named for the Bomber's former manager/player and city Parks & Recreation Director. There are nine fields at three locations on Drew Street, all of which are connected by the East-West Trail. There are five 300-foot fields, two 250-foot fields, and two 200-foot fields. The complex has soft toss areas for pre-game warm ups, and fields 8 & 9 are state-of-the-art training facility with covered batting tunnels. The complex has picnic areas, shelters, benches, concession stands, and restrooms.

Partnering once again with the City of Clearwater and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Convention and Visitors Bureau, USF softball proudly hosts the 2011 USF Series. From 24 teams over a long weekend in 1997, this event has exploded into the largest NCAA softball tournament in the country. In 2010, the tournament welcomed 57 colleges from around the nation and played over 200 games during three different tournaments and four different weekends.
