Valdosta, GA -- Valdosta State will host its third annual Blazer Softball Pack the Park at 2 p.m. Saturday. For the third consecutive season, Pack the Park comes on Valdosta State’s doubleheader against Gulf South Conference rival Alabama-Huntsville.

The Blazers are 2-2 against Alabama-Huntsville in Pack the Park meetings, dropping two last year to the No. 1 Chargers, but beating No. 12 UAH twice in 2010. This season, the Blazers are No. 1 in the nation while Alabama-Huntsville comes to Valdosta ranked 21st.

For Valdosta State’s annual Pack the Park, Blazer athletics will be giving away free t-shirts to the first 100 fans in the gates, and remember, students get in free with a student ID.

Be sure to come out for Valdosta State’s Pack the Park Saturday at 2 p.m., and don’t miss out on Friday’s doubleheader as well when VSU hosts North Alabama at 1 p.m.
