"Youth and Community Day" & FAMU Football

Tallahassee, FL - FAMU and FSU fans are getting ready for tomorrow's home games by coming out here to the Downtown Getdown. Tomorrow is also a special day for young people over at FAMU.

Tomorrow is "Youth and Community Day" at the FAMU home game.
Families are encouraged to come out together and watch the Rattlers take on Savannah State University.

Administrators say give a gift to a child or teenager by buying a ticket and giving it to them.

While they're trying to get the youth involved, of course, Rattler fans of all ages are gearing up for the game.

Tamu Griffin, FAMU Fan, said, "I'm excited. The games are always fun, whether we have the band or not. We're still gong to support our team. I'm looking forward to the food. I'm looking forward to the game. Im looking forward to the excitement."

FAMU's halftime entertainment will feature local Tallahassee high
school marching bands from James S. Rickards High School and FAMU Developmental Research School.

There will also be D.J. battles throughout the game to keep the energy level and excitement going.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Rattler fans are encouraged to wear pink to tomorrow's game. Kick-off starts at 6.
