The Tallahassee Quarterback Club opened its doors again this week to a new set of high school stars and football enthusiasts.
Tuesday night, the meeting of the Tallahassee QB Club featured a guest speaker of local significance. FAMU Head Coach Joe Taylor graced the event with wise words of encouragement and inspiration.
Taylor is currently ranked 9th in all-time victories among active head coaches. His 28 years of head coaching experience and string of dominance at Hampton University helped him climb to such status. His tenure at FAMU has been quite stellar as well. Despite not yet making the FCS or Division 1AA National Playoffs, Taylor's FAMU Rattlers have yet to suffer more than 3 losses in any seaosn since he's been head coach.
Taylor told our reporters that the Tally QB Club event not only showcases which high school kids are worth giving scholarships to, but it also celebrates the game of football and all of the life skills featured within the sport.
