The Black College Football Hall of Fame has spoken and a famous FAMU Rattler is on the list for the 2011 induction class.... "Bullet" Bob Hayes is on this list along with names like Art Shell and Doug Williams.

Bob Hayes played multiple sports at FAMU and went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys. He also won Olympic Gold in 1964 at Tokyo. He was once dubbed as the "World's Fastest Man" after winning the gold medal in the 100meters at the '64 Olympics.

Bob was the greatest two sport star of all time and has the olympic golds and super bowl rings to back that up. I met him in 1970 at the Golden West track meet and he was very gracious and went out of his way to meet all the athletes. Before that I was a Bob Hayes track fan but after that and until this day became a Dallas Cowboy fan. This is a trully deserving honor and I know he is looking down with great pride. God bless Bob and our great Black Colleges especially my daughters alma mater Howard U
