The FAMU men's basketball team started off hot Monday night against the South Carolina State University Bulldogs. That hotstart cooled quickly as the Rattlers dropped their home finale, 65-53 at the Al Lawson Center.

FAM's first quarter was fueled by Rickards product Avery Moore who fired 5 3-pointers in the first half... He finished the game 5-8 from long range with 19 points.

Senior night featured West Gadsden product Larry Jackson who had 5 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.

FAMU will close out the regular season Thursday night at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL.

MEAC Tournament play begins March 7th-12th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
