MIAMI (Dec. 22) - The Florida A&M University Men’s Basketball team dropped their second game in a row as FIU defeated the Rattlers 87-82, here Wednesday evening at the U.S. Century Bank Arena.
FAMU (5-7) had a pair of Rattlers to score double-figures with Avery Moore leading the way with a game high 20 points, followed by Rasheem Jenkins with 11. Yannick Crowder was the high man for the Rattlers on the board as he pulled down a game high 16 rebounds.
FIU (5-6) had six Panthers to score in double –figures with Eric Federick scoring a team high 19 points. Jeremy Allen dropped in 14 points, behind him was DeJuan Wright with 13 points. Both Marvin Roberts and Alex Legion finished with 11 points each for FIU, while Dominique Ferguson finished with 10 points. Wright led the Panthers in rebounds with a game high seven rebounds.
The Rattlers will return to action on January 2 as they will travel to Air Force Academy, Colorado to take on Air Force in a 4:30 MST start.
