It's homecoming week for the Rattlers.
FAMU senior cornerback Qier Hall says,
"It's a bug week. We're playing for our fans and everybody that's coming in town to see us play. So we want to make it even more better for them by getting this victory for them."
Easier said then done when the opponent is Morgan State. The last trip for the Bears inside Bragg was homecoming 2008, and spoiled the celebration for the Rattlers with a 13-10 win.
FAMU junior wide receiver Kevin Elliot adds,
"It's frustrating. I still think about it too, till this day. I'm definitely going to have that in mind when we play them on Saturday."
With every game in the conference a win or go home scenario, with the distractions surrounding this week, the true Rattlers will be put to the test.
FAMU senior wide receiver Isaac West says,
"That's when you really find yourself as a man. Make sure you continue to focus and don't worry about the outside and just treat every game, like a game. It's really not a homecoming for us, it's a homecoming for the crowd. You'll get your chance after this season and get our chance to enjoy it but right now we have to stay focused and stay on our goals and win this championship."
A win over Morgan State will go a long way to helping FAMU reach that goal.
