The FAMU women's basketball team picked up their 2nd win of the season Tuesday night in a non-conference road battle with Southern Mississippi.
The Lady Rattlers were paced by 4 players who scored double digits in a 77-68 victory in Hattiesburg, MS.
Qiana Donald led all Lady Rattlers with 20 points and 17 rebounds. 10 of her boards were on the offensive glass. Usual scoring machine Antonia Bennett chipped in with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 1 blocked shot. Point guard Tameka McKelton had 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals while Kimberly Sparkman contributed 15 points, 2 steals and 3 made three pointers.
All-in-all, 7 players scored at least one bucket for Coach LeDawn Gibson and the (2-4) Lady Rattlers.
Next up for the Orange & Green is a MEAC opening road trip to Daytona, Saturday December 3rd at Bethune-Cookman University.
