More MEAC Magic for FAMU Basketball

The FAMU Rattlers continued their MEAC magic Thursday night in an overtime thriller against 3-seed Delaware State.

FAMU used a 16 point, 8 rebound night from Amin Stevens and 12 points from Yannick Crowder to power past the Hornets in overtime of the MEAC tournament quarterfinals.

Tuesday night, the Rattlers rallied back from a 15 point deficit to defeat 6-seed Coppin State 74-72. Thursday night, the Rattlers led for a majority of the game but saw the Hornets buzz back and tie the game at 51-51 on a shot from freshman Taj Tate.

Overtime proved to be "Rattlertime" and the Orange & Green took a tie game and turned it into a 10-point victory.

Now the Rattlers advance to the MEAC Tournament semifinals Friday night at 8pm against 2-seed Norfolk State.
