Tallahassee, FL (AP) - Florida State has played away from home
just once this season -- and got creamed.
And now the most difficult part of the Seminole's schedule -- in
terms of travel -- begins Saturday with a visit to Virginia (2-1)
for a noon kickoff to help the Cavaliers inaugurate their Atlantic
Coast Conference schedule.
Florida State (3-1, 1-0 ACC) has only home game between Sept. 25
and Nov. 6 -- against Boston College on Oct. 16.
With three of the Seminoles next four on the road, including
back-to-back trips to Virginia and Miami, first-year coach Jimbo
Fisher wants to avoid a meltdown similar to the 47-17 implosion at
Oklahoma on Sept. 11.
Although he doesn't plan to change his preparation for the trip,
Fisher said Monday that sometimes it's easier on the road where the

I agree. The win was sooo nice. Yet, you can belive the defeat is still there. I agree the NOLES will be determined to beat them and you are right about the penalties can "kill" them. Come on MEN fight, fight, fight. GO NOLES!!!!!

I suspect the taste of the defeat in OK is still in the mouths of our Noles. VA had better be prepared for the game of the year for them. We're going to see a strong Nole team determined to never lose another game. I'll be shocked if we don't overwhelm VA. Of course, dumb penalties can negate great play on the field. Let's hope we will be disciplined and play like winners. They better win it or the Miami game will be like climbing Mt.Everest barefooted. If we beat Miami we will "have arrived". They are going to defend their house with all they have, and then some. GO NOLES!
