Brandon Jenkins has been a Seminole all his life.
FSU sophomre defensive end Brandon Jenkins says,
"I love Florida State, that's in my heart. I grew up around it. I love Florida State to death."
A four star recruit from Florida HIgh, he was listed as the number two defensive end in the state as a senior, recording twenty sacks and eighty tackles his final year. In just his second season at Florida State, he has developed into one of the most dangerous pass rushers in college football.
"Attitude. You go out and you want to win. If you want to win, go out there and play your hardest and things will happen for you."
Through the first seven games, Jenkins leads the Seminole defense in tackles for loss with eleven and a half and sacks with seven. Numbers that put him on pace to have one of the best seasons for a defensive end in FSU history.
"Just going out and playing football. I don't care what year I am, I'm just playing football and having fun. Five more games left, half the season. I just want to go out there and make more plays and work harder."
Its the play by Jenkins that is one reason the Seminoles lead the FBS in sacks.
