Week one for Florida State football is finally here. It's been 246 days since their win in the the Champs Sports Bowl, and now the 'Noles can put camp behind them and focus on opponent Murray State.

"We're very excited to get the season kicked off, we had a very good fall camp, we like where our kids are," said head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Quarterback EJ Manuel will be directing the offense once again, but he'll have to do it behind an inexperienced offensive line. The five starters have just starts between them.

"The guys that were younger like Josue, Tre' Jackson, Austin Barron, they were younger last year as freshman, and now they have the opportunity as Sophomores, have a year under their belt, full of spring and things like that so I'm pretty sure they're going to be confident in what they see," Manuel said.

The O-line was a work in progress in 2011 and is a question mark heading into 2012. Both left tackle Cameron Erving and Right Tackle Menelik Watson will be making their first division one starts. Fisher put it bluntly about how they'll be feeling.

"They'll both be nervous...they'll both be nervous as crap," Fisher joked.

He's probably right, but nervous or not, Coach Fisher is confident about the front five he's sending out there.

"I'll tell you what, I watch who they block, and I watch the size and the athleticism, it's a different group of guys, it's different cats."
