Back to back seasons the story has been the same for FSU basketball.
Two NCAA tournament appearances, and two early exits.
FSU junior guard Luke Loucks says,
"It's one thing to get to the NCAA tournament, it's a great accomplishment. A lot of players have never experienced that but it's another thing to g et there two years in a row and drop the ball both years. We feel like this year we definitely have the talent and the experience."
Eight letter winners return on coach Hamilton's roster. Eight veterans that have lead the Seminoles to consecutive twenty win seasons and top four ACC finishes.
FSU men's head basketball coach Leonard Hamilton adds,
"We feel that the team has enough veterans returning and they've been there before and hopefully that experience will be beneficial."
Luke Loucks adds,
"Out of all the seasons I've been here, this is probably the one that we just have overwhelming talent at every position. We're very deep."
Even though, they can not rely on what they have done in the past, but prepare for the season ahead.
Leonard Hamilton adds,
"We don't quite understand what the bar being raised means. We have our own set of goals that we would like to reach and that's really basically all we need."
Season tips off November 12th against North Florida.
