Tallahassee, FL - The Florida State women’s basketball team has been listed in ESPN.com’s Preseason Top 10 poll.
The Seminoles find themselves tied at No. 10 with conference rival North Carolina in a list of the nation’s top programs compiled by a panel of ESPN.com women’s basketball experts.
FSU is also ranked No. 14 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll and No. 18 in the Associated Press poll.
Florida State steamrolled Alabama-Huntsville in an exhibition contest, 122-58, back on Oct. 24 and will open the regular season this Friday at 6 p.m. The game against Alabama State will be immediately followed by the FSU men’s season-opener.
Fans of both programs are reminded that a men’s ticket for Friday’s game will also allow entrance to the women’s contest. Anyone who attends the women’s game is permitted to stay for the men’s game.
