The Florida State-Duke match-up bleeds competition for players and fans, but for FSU's Alexa Deluzio and Duke's Krystal Thomas, its more of a friendly rivalry.
"We've been friends since I was like 11 years old, so thats a lot of years of just being together and being a part of each other's lives, and we played together most of our basketball careers and now its just fun to play against her." says Deluzio.
Krystal is a Senior at Duke and plays Center. Alexa's parents Don and Sheri are also her guardians.
"Its going to be a lot of fun, a lot of family members there and its more of a sister rivalry type, and last year kind of left me with a bitter feeling so, this year im hoping to beat Krystal."
Alexa says there has been limited trash talking leading up to Friday nights game, and although they have this sisterly bond, once the two step onto the court, its game time.
"We both have a competitive spirit and thats what we are very similar in, and I think once we get between the lines, its going to be Im for FSU and she's for Duke and thats it." adds Deluzio.
