Former Noles Pay Tribute To Coach Bowden

Many former FSU Football players made their way back to Tallahassee to be a part of Bobby Bowden weekend. The WCTV Sports team caught up with former Noles Everette Brown and William Floyd.

"After Coach Bowden was the first coach to sit in my living room to recruit me, I couldn't tell him no. I still have a cake in my parents freezer from 2004, a picture Coach Bowden and I took, put it on the cake, its in the freezer now and nobody ever tocuhed the cake. So I'm excited to come back and see Coach Bowden and I'm happy for him," Brown said.

Nobody's eaten that cake?

"Nobody's touched that cake, it's not allowed," Brown said.

William Floyd was part of a national championship team (1993) and is also the color analyst for FSU Football games. He has the honor of being the voice to the fans to descibe the emotion that will surround Coach Bowden's return on gameday. How special will that be?

"It will be exciting. Twenty-years we have been doing this thing. I get to talk about the greatest coach of all-time over the radio to Seminole fans. I am looking for to it, I know all these guys that are here, Everette, there's about 400 guys , we are all excited to see coach," Floyd said.
