TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Alexa Deluzio scored 22 points and
Cierra Bravard added 15 Sunday as 14th-ranked Florida State
defeated Clemson 67-50 in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Deluzio scored 16 points in the first half, including a pair of
3-point baskets that spurred a 9-0 run late in the half and sent
the Seminoles to the locker room with a 34-26 lead. She was 6 of 10
from the floor, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range.
Florida State (23-6, 11-3) will have a bye in the ACC tournament
that begins Thursday.
Clemson (10-19, 3-10) jumped out to an 8-2 lead but faltered
quickly on its way to a sixth straight defeat. Kirstyn Wright and
Sthefany Thomas each scored 11 points for the Tigers.
Clemson shot just 30 percent in the game, with 6-4 center
Lindsey Mason going 0 for 10.
