Tallahassee, FL - Florida State’s nationally-ranked soccer team will be hosting an official National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Special Topics Course titled “Reading the Game,” from 10:30-4:00pm to be held in conjunction with the Seminoles’ senior day match against Virginia Tech on Sunday, October 24, at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
This NSCAA Special Topics Course, “Reading the Game”, is an important skill for coaches in the USA. The ability to improve players, groups of players and teams is the ultimate goal of all coaching and is directly related to the coach’s ability to read the game and to understand the needs of the team. Analyzing the game of soccer is not easy, and this skill, like so many others, can only be improved through guided practice.
“This coaching course will help coaches take a deeper look into the game, dealing with personnel and tactics both pre and post game,” said head coach Mark Krikorian. “The discussion will include systems of play, styles of play that will be run by NSCAA National Staff Coach Jay Golomb. We are thrilled to offer this course and help the greater Tallahassee soccer community and beyond, grow in the game.”
The cost for attending the clinic is $65 and includes lunch. People who attend will receive complimentary NSCAA membership for NEW members only. Space is limited to 50 participants so please register soon. Link to register is below.
