Tallahassee, FL - The No. 15 Florida State women’s basketball team will don all-pink uniforms and host Georgia Tech Friday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

For the first time ever, the Seminoles (19-5, 7-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) will wear pink uniforms as the program helps raise awareness for breast cancer treatment and prevention.

Fans that come to see FSU take on the Yellow Jackets (18-7, 6-3) are encouraged to wear pink to the game in support of the cause, with one dollar of every ticket purchased going to aid in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer.

Additionally, anyone that gives at least a $10 donation will receive this year’s official “Paint It Pink” t-shirt. Pink Florida State women’s basketball wristbands can also be purchased at the game.

Special edition warm-up shirts worn by the Seminoles will be auctioned off on Seminoles.com at the conclusion of the game. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center located in Tallahassee.

Some funds will also be donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in honor of the late North Carolina State Women’s Basketball coach and her courageous fight with breast cancer. Fans can also text “4Kay” to 85944 to make a $10 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

The game will air live on Fox Sports South.

QUICK HITTERS

• Florida State returns home to the Donald L. Tucker Center after moving its conference road-record to 5-0 with a win at Virginia Monday night.

• FSU and Georgia Tech have met 36 times since the 1974-75 season and are knotted up at 18-18 in the series. The Seminoles have won the last two straight over the Yellow Jackets.

• The ’Noles are 8-9 all time against the Yellow Jackets in Tallahassee.

• With a win over Georgia Tech Friday night, FSU would reach 20 wins for the third year in a row and for the sixth time in seven years. Prior to head coach Sue Semrau’s first season at FSU in 1997-98, the Seminoles had reached the 20-win plateau just three times in the history of the program.

• A win would also give FSU at least eight conference victories for the eighth time in Sue Semrau’s tenure.

• Last season against Georgia Tech, Florida State came away with a 69-59 win in Atlanta, Ga. In that game, former ’Noles Jacinta Monroe and Alysha Harvin combined for 28 points while current FSU players Chasity Clayton, Courtney Ward and Christian Hunnicutt all had nine points apiece.

• After playing Friday night, Florida State travels to play at Wake Forest on Feb. 17.
