TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- The latest fashion trend around the
Florida State football program is the compression sleeve worn
nearly on a weekly basis by quarterback Christian Ponder.
The senior quarterback sought to assure reporters Monday that
he's fully recovered from a ruptured bursa sack near the elbow on
his right throwing arm suffered during 24-19 win Oct. 16 over
Boston College.
Wearing the ever present sleeve, Ponder conceded his arm was
still a bit sore, but that he expected to be full throttle Thursday
night when the 16th-ranked Seminoles visit North Carolina State in
a critical Atlantic Coast Conference game.
Ponder, who suffered a season-ending shoulder injury last year,
has battled his way through a variety of nagging injuries this
season.
