Seminoles Turn Attention to ACC Championship Game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) --

Jimbo Fisher didn't get much time to savor a big victory over archrival Florida that capped his first regular season as Florida State's coach.

Fisher was back at work Sunday, Nov. 28 preparing for the upcoming
Atlantic Coast Conference championship game against 12th-ranked
Virginia Tech, which brings a 10-game winning streak into the game.

But ending streaks is what Fisher's first season has been about.

The 20th-ranked Seminoles (9-3, 6-2 ACC) got rid of their most
annoying streak Saturday, snapping a six-year losing streak to
archrival Florida with an impressive 31-7 victory over the Gators.

And now, with thanks to Maryland's win over North Carolina
State, the Seminoles have a shot at their first league title in
five years.
___________

The ACC Championship Game will be on Saturday, December 4th in Charlotte, North Carolina. The game starts at 7:45 PM.

GO NOLES !!! AWESOME job! You all played with heart, pride, class, and the determintation to win. Take all of those characteristics with you to Charolette, and bring home a well deserved Title. I am a Bobby B fan, but hats off to Jimbo, and the entire coaching staff I know that Bobby B was chopping with pride on Saturday!! Good luck in the ACC Championship game !!!

Congrad's to Florida State football player's and the entire coaching staff. I know the Noles have had some rough years and should have won the last two games that they lost. I was happy for two things from the Noles this year. We rule FLORIDA for the first time in a long time. We beat Miami and Florida. Our year is complete. Now we need them to bring that ACC championship home where it belongs. GO NOLES GO, KICK V-TECH TO SLEEP!

With my totally divided family (wife matriculated Gator, Daughter Gator, grandson current Gator, son 'Nole, son-in-law 'Nole, self twice a 'Nole) I cannot thank Jimbo and the team enough for bringing some semblance of peace to the household. It lasted right up to 745pm Sunday night.
