TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – The Florida State University softball team will have 14 home games from the 2011 season streamed as part of the Seminoles.com All-Access schedule.

The Seminoles’ streamed contests include their first two games of the season-opening Seminole Kickoff Classic against opponents UNC Greensboro (Feb. 11 – noon) and St. John’s (Feb. 11 – 2:15 p.m.). FSU’s game against Florida A&M on Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. can also be seen on Seminoles.com.

All four of FSU’s contests in the Big Ten/Mountain West/ACC Tournament are included in the All-Access schedule. FSU battles Wisconsin and Utah on March 5 and 6 at JoAnne Graf Field, with two matchups apiece. The Seminoles then can be seen facing off against Virginia Tech in a Saturday doubleheader on April 2 beginning at 1 p.m.

The All-Access games conclude with a doubleheader versus Virginia on April 9 beginning at noon, followed by a doubleheader against North Florida on April 13 beginning at 4 p.m. The final contest on Seminoles.com takes place on April 24 against Maryland at noon.

FSU looks to build on its strong history and make a record-breaking 12th NCAA Championship appearance. The Seminoles have two 11-year streaks from 1986-96 and 2000-10 that are currently the school’s longest postseason stretches. Since the 1986 season, FSU has failed to make an NCAA Regional just twice.

FSU has made consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference championship game appearances in head coach Lonni Alameda’s first two seasons. The 2011 edition includes seven returning position starters as well as four returnees on the mound. Junior outfielder Shayla Jackson is among the team’s top returning players after garnering a .338 batting average last season with one home run, 33 RBIs, 72 hits and 39 runs scored.

Senior right-hander Sarah Hamilton, a Tallahassee native, anchors a strong pitching unit. Hamilton finished the 2010 year at 22-10 with a 1.50 ERA and 326 strikeouts in 214.1 innings pitched.

All scheduled Seminoles.com All-Access games are subject to change based on weather and television appearances.
