Tigers Hold Strong Through Momentum Swings

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says his team
has done a good job handling a season of wild momentum swings that
still have them in the chase for the ACC's Atlantic Division.
The Tigers (5-4, 3-3 ACC) travel to Florida State on Saturday
and need to win to maintain a chance at a divisional repeat.
Swinney says it's been a year of offensive transition after the
highly successful corps of tailback C.J. Spiller, receiver Jacoby
Ford and tight end Michael Palmer went to the NFL.
But the coach thinks his current players have hung tough. He
says a perfect example was last week's 14-13 victory over North
Carolina State where the Tigers overcame a 10-0 Wolfpack lead.
