Raleigh, NC (AP) - Russell Wilson threw a fourth-down
touchdown pass to George Bryan with 2:40 left to help North
Carolina State rally from a big halftime deficit and beat No. 16
Florida State 28-24 on Thursday night.
Wilson also ran for three scores for the Wolfpack (6-2, 3-1
Atlantic Coast Conference), who trailed 21-7 at the break before
ending a three-game losing streak to the Seminoles (6-2, 4-1). With
the win, N.C. State surpassed its victory total for last season
while earning a key victory in a matchup of Atlantic Division
contenders.
Trailing 24-21, the Wolfpack drove to the FSU 1-yard line but
failed on three attempts to get into the end zone before Wilson
found Bryan after a play-action fake for an easy score.
Florida State drove to the N.C. State 4 in the final minute, but
Ponder fumbled on what appeared to be a play-action fake and Nate
Irving pounced on the ball with 48 seconds left to seal the win.

I like how everyone blames this loss on Ponder. It was not all his fault. The fatal fumble occured on a play that would have worked like beauty if Jones, who I think is the best RB on the team, does not run in to CP7. A play action pass or bootleg run would have been the icing on the cake for FSU! We are not back at the top yet, but we will get there.

I can't but wonder how it was possible for them to drag Miami they way they did but after seeing Thursday night game I can't but wonder if is was a set up for Miami to loose the game I think the should be looked into in the history of FSU and MIami they have never beat them within 3 points so my question is what's going own

Ponder is so.........inconsistent. He left his brain in Tallahassee Thursday night. What a shame. He's been trying to play quarterback long enough not to make the mistakes that he made Thursday night. The defense was playing poorly. Missing tackles and not tackling properly. I've been an FSU fan all of my life and I am ready for some positive results.......not more excuses!!!!!

Why did Jimbo opt for a pass when the running game had been picking up the yardage in short yard situation. Got too cute and it burned him. Oline and backs were sufficing for the game winning score

Bad mouthing the team doesn't mean that someone is a fair-weather fan. I bleed garnet and gold and have also been a fan all my life. But facts are facts, Ponder played a crappy game. The defense didn't man up and stop NC State when they needed to. The other team beat us because their players with inferior talent executed better than ours. Plain and simple.

FSU is not the powerhouse that everyone wants them to be. They are an inconsistent college team that is fun to watch. So they lost... it was still a good game and very entertaining. I hate games that are blowouts.

Fact of the matter is FSU is just not that good yet. The only strong team we have played beat us easily. ACC weakest it has been some time, and we are struggling. It's all good, part of building a program back. Same play calling though, that has not changed with Jimbo..Still in it, just need to win out ACC games and get a little help, and beat the gators..Go noles!!

There was also some poor oficiating the first"fumble for example the replay clearly showed ponders hand going forward before the ball came out.
