There should be plenty of happy faces in this area as the Noles, Blazers, and Rattlers were victorious, and we start with the Noles. A team that not only had a defensive star come off the team's bench due to suspension, but their greatest offensive weapon this weekend also began the game on the pine.
The name is a familiar one, Xavier Lee, now you can put an image of him playing by the name. He's got a great arm, and he can run too. Word out of Seminole camp is that he will not be coming off the bench come Saturday.
"I just want to do my role for this team. Be as consistent as I can. Try not to turn the ball over, be a leader and just have fun," says Lee.
"He really started practicing better... Making more plays. Making more consistent plays. Even his mistakes in practice were for the right reasons. He was thinking the right way which is the first sign that things are going the right way. Which is why we felt very comfortable putting him into the game," adds FSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher.
