"Maybe the best we've tackled in 24 years. Eight missed tackles for the ballgame. Nine the week before. You can't play great defense if you don't tackle," said defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews.

"We out-toughed a very good football team. We out-toughed a traditionally tough football team. We did not back up. When they hit us in the mouth, we hit them right back. We made plays when we needed to. We made plays in crucial situations," said offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher.

The Noles look to ride this wave of momentum as they prepare for Coach Amatto's old team North Carolina State.
