Athens, GA - The Georgia women’s soccer team will travel for the first time this regular-season but will remain in-state, heading down to Macon for Friday’s match-up with Mercer at 7:00 p.m. at Bear Field, before heading to Atlanta to face Georgia State on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the GSU Soccer Field.

“We keep it all in perspective,” said head coach Steve Holeman. “Our mission is to get better every time out. We come out, work hard on our weaknesses and get better for the coming weekend.”

“Without question winning breeds confidence but even after the Duke loss I think we played a really good game and entered last weekend with confidence,” Holeman said. “We’re very aware of [the upcoming games] and can’t take anyone lightly. These are great programs and in-state rivals and we’ll do our best to play our best and prepare.”
