Former TU Star Shines in Rookie League
Former Thomas U baseball stud Ryan Stovall continues to tear up rookie league play.

Former Night Hawk Ryan Stovall was named Player of the Year for the Burlington Royals, a rookie league affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
Stovall was honored after hitting .303 with 15 doubles, five triples, four home runs, 24 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 61 games for Burlington. In 2009 the native of Live Oak, FL became the first Night Hawk to be selected in the Major League Baseball amataeur draft, when Kansas City selected him in the 19th round. This past season Stovall helped lead the B-Royals to the postseason for the first time in the four years that Burlington has served as a minor league affiliate of the Royals.
