The NCAA has scheduled a good mid-week game on Thursday evening between the Noles and Demon Deacons.
The Noles won the A-C-C title back in '05, while it was Wake Forest who claimed the crown in '06.
Not only did they claim the crown, but they did so in disparaging fashion to the Noles, handing Bobby Bowden the first loss ever to them, in a 30-nothing shutout.
Soon after, then FSU offensive coordinator Jeff Bowden had resigned.
A year later, it's actually Xavier Lee who again starts against the Deacons, but this time momentum is on the Garnet and Gold's side.
"I hope kickers and offense and defense, and all of them got it stuck in their mind. They only got 30 points. That was the worst part of the season right there. Every other game we could have won," says Bobby Bowden.
