Greg Jones Plays Role in Jaguars Sunday Win

At the professional level, where we revisit a familiar face. Greg Jones was a punishing running back before injuries slowed him down a bit at Florida State.

He then went on to the NFL where he was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round, and was considered an up-and-coming starter until last year he tore his ACL.

That brings us to now, where Jones finds himself buried behind two solid running backs, yet Jones continues to shine.

He is playing some fullback, and on Sunday in an important win over the Chiefs, the Jags looked upon him to run down the clock.

"At that point, Greg is a talented guy, he does a lot of different things for us, he plays fullback, plays special teams, plays halfback, and at the end of the game, he's certainly a guy who you can bring in and he's going to get those bruising yards," says Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio.
