PARIS (AP) _ The 2006 Tour de France yellow jersey of American
Floyd Landis will be presented to second-place finisher Oscar
Pereiro (pur-AYR'-oh) next week at a ceremony in Madrid, Spain. The
International Cycling Union declared the Spaniard the winner after
an arbitration panel voted 2-to-1 to ban Landis for doping.
Landis tested positive after the race for high levels of
synthetic testosterone. The yellow jersey is awarded the winner of
the race every year.
