WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) _ Riley Skinner's 35-yard touchdown
pass to Kenneth Moore in the fourth quarter led Wake Forest to a
24-21 victory over 21st-ranked Florida State.
Skinner completed 19 of 27 passes for 215 yards and two
touchdowns for the Demon Deacons who rallied to beat the Seminoles
in consecutive seasons for the first time in school history.
Wake Forest improves to 4-and-2 overall and 3-and-1 in the ACC.
The Seminoles are 4-and-2 and 1-and-2 in conference play.
After taking a 21-14 lead with 6:41 left, the Demon Deacons
added Sam Swank's 48-yard field goal with 1:40 remaining.
The Seminoles got a 17-yard touchdown run from quarterback
Xavier Lee with 17 seconds left, but Wake Forest recovered an
onside kick to seal it.
