The FSU women's basketball season is right around the corner... Their first exhimbition game is Halloween night at 6pm over at the Civic Center... That's when their quest for another successfull postseason continues.
But what have they been up to since last Spring? How about making a difference in the community.
Coach Sue Semrau and the Lady Noles had a historic ride through the NCAA tournament last season, giving the Garnet & Gold their first ever Sweet 16 appearance...
But what they do off the court has the local community winning. Just last week, the lady Noles attended choir practice with the Tallahassee Boys Choir and the experience was clutch
Christian Hunnicutt, FSU freshmen guard says:
"She (Coach Sue Semrau) is always trying to get her to dance and show her some moves but she never really learns them. It was fun to see her dance."
The Choir will perform at a home game this season so this meeting of both athletic and musical minds was just a preview of something better.
Sue Semrau, FSU Head Women's Basketball Coach says:
"I brought my nephew by over the summer and I knew they were great. I think having both the basketball team and the choir together is a great experience. "
So whether its reading books to elementary school, dancing with the choir or winning on the big stage. The Lady Noles don't hesitate to show off their big game.
