Blazers Will Have to Stifle West 'Bama Rushing Attack

By  |

While the Noles hope to return to respectability, the Blazers seek a national championship. While last week's lose to Delta State was a set back, it did not ruin the season.
On the other hand, a loss to a West Alabama squad still in search for their first conference win would likely keep the Blazers from the post-season for the second year in a row.

What to know about West Bama, well they keep their offense on the ground. Running back Cole Mason is averaging 97 yards per Game, so the Black Swarm will have their hands full there.

Let's just hope the 9-day lay-off won't hinder the Blazers plan.

"Yeah, we are, we can't wait to get back on the field. It seems like it's been a long time because we played on Thursday last week and we can't wait to get out there and get after it once again," says VSU's senior center Davis Russell.
