The Blazers were the first local or regional team to learn about what happens when you play on Thursday. Now after a 9-day layoff, they return to the grid-iron with victory a mere expectation.

The Blazers average 39 points a game, and have historically dominated this match-up. In fact, they are 24 and 1 all-time against the Tigers.

Of course, coming off a loss, the Blazers should not allow there to be any loose ends.

"Finishing off drives, finishing all plays, special teams, not letting the big return, dictated the change of momentum... that we lost track of after we got the big lead," says VSU head coach David Dean.
