Lee Out, Weatherford In... Again

Xavier Lee definitely moved the ball last week. The problem was that he failed to get the ball into the end zone enough. He also looked silly that last series, unable to get the ball to his running back.

That is a throw that Drew can make, the problem that he encountered was that he was unable to move the ball up-field consistently.

"Just told me that I was gonna be the guy, told me that at this point it's not about who’s starting. It's about winning games. He wants me to go out and study hard so we can win on Saturday," said starting quarterback Drew Weatherford.

The Seminoles are in big trouble struggling to become bowl eligible. To make matters worse, the 'Noles lost one of their biggest rivalry games in front of the home fans. Even after the loss, the team is showing a new enthusiasm this week. FSU fans are all wondering if that has anything to do with the change at quarterback?

"I don't know if it had anything to do with it. That's one thing they've done, they've worked good. They done their weightlifting. They've done a good job with that," said head coach Bobby Bowden.
