VSU Facing a Must Win Situation

By  |

Now in the final stretch of his first year as the head ball coach, Dean is looking to not have his inaugural year become VSU's second consecutive season missing the playoffs. All of which creating a "must win" situation this Saturday.

"This is a team that has beaten us the last two times we lined up against them. So we want to go out and win this game. It's just that we're playing for our playoff hopes right now. We feel that we have to win this ball game if we're gonna have an opportunity to control our own destiny.." Says David Dean
"Last year we went 8-2 and missed the playoffs. So we feel like if we lose again we won't make the playoffs. We're coming to this game in playoff mode. We'll try to execute and win the game.." Says quarterback Willie Copeland

That team is second ranked North Alabama. Lucky for VSU the game is being played in Winnersville.
