Florida State has issued out a press release telling us that Xavier Lee will be suspended for the next two games.
Academic violations the reason for the suspension.
Lee has started three games for the Noles this year, and has lost two of them.
His best game came against Alabama, when he was brought in as a spark for a struggling Drew Weatherford, and responded with 2 touchdowns.
He then led the Noles over North Carolina State, before suffering consecutive setbacks to Wake Forest and Miami.
Now the Noles enter the most difficult part of their schedule relying on a freshman and sophomore as their backups.
"He was suspended because of violations of our academic policy here at Florida State, they have suspended him for two games," says coach Bowden.
"I'm kind of nervous because Boston College is two in the nation, so I'm pretty sure that if I go in there, everything is going to be moving so fast," says D'Vontrey Richardson.
