Rattlers Hope For Better Results Against Pirates

The season continues for the FAMU Rattlers against Hampton University in Virginia this weekend. Don't expect an easy one, last year's contest gave the team nightmares, as in the midst of a cool stormy night, the Pirates pummeled the Rattlers by a 59-7 score. Did I mention that the game was played at Bragg Memorial Stadium?

Well the good news is that this year, the defending champion Pirates are a bit more vulnerable.

Leading the offense for the Rattlers, look for an even split of senior quarterback Leon Camel and freshman Eddie Battle.

"Now he has a way better understanding of what teams are trying to do to him. They got him last week with the two interceptions. One was a bad decision and one was a bad ball," explains FAMU offensive coordinator Bob Cole.
