It's now time to refresh our ancient History knowledge by bringing up King Pyrrus and the great battle with the Romans.

Pyrrus led his army to victory in a series of battles, but the casualties were overwhelming. Indeed, King Pyrrus won the battle, but not the war.

To the modern era, last night Valdosta State took care of rival West Georgia 35 to 10. But, they lost their senior quarterback Willie Copeland in doing so.

If he is unable to return for the playoffs, this might be a greater loss for the Blazers.

In the meantime, his replacement last night Tucker Pruitt believes he can only get better:

"I guess okay because we got the win, but I feel like I could have done a lot more... I definite got a lot to work on, but like I said we got out of here with a win, so we'll take it."
